What Happens After Graduation?
After graduation, On Campus students have the option to enter our sister program, Alumni Employment Support (space permitting). Alumni Support assists students to find and maintain employment and staff support both the graduates and their employers. The Employment Facilitator will assist in job searching, interview preparation, on-the-job training and support, duty modification, and will provide on-going support of the student and employer as needs arise. The hours of support are tailored to the individual needs of the graduate and will likely decrease over time as the graduate becomes more proficient and confident carrying out their employment duties. A crucial role of the Employment Facilitator is to foster the natural supports in the work place. Natural supports play a large part in the successful inclusion of students and graduates within the university as well as in every other environment where our students may find themselves (e.g. employment, recreation, social or otherwise).
